Educational Qualifications
Vocational Qualifications
            iv.	 Higher 
National 
Diploma 
in 
Electrical 
Technology
             v.	 National Certificate in Electrical Technology 
(NCIT – Electrical)
            vi.	 National Diploma in Electrical Technology 
(03 Years Part-Time)
OR
04. Having Level 06 qualifications in Bio-Medical 
Equipment Technology certified by the National 
Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority  or 
awarded by an institution under its purview.
OR
05.	 Having followed a National Technical Certificate 
Course in Electrical/Electronic Technology offered 
by the Government and fulfilled the qualifications 
specified under Public Administration Circular 
No. 46/90 VI dated 30.10.1990 in accordance with 
Public Administration Circular No. 22/2015 dated 
17.11.2015.
2.2.	
Experience: Experience gained in the relevant field from any Government institution or recognized private 
sector institution will be considered an additional qualification for the post of Electro-Medical Technician.
2.3.	
Physical Fitness: Every candidate should possess sufficient physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of Sri 
Lanka and to perform the duties of the post.

I.	
Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
	
	 II.	
Should be of excellent character.
	
	 III.	
All the qualifications specified under Sections 2.1 to 2.5 required for recruitment to the post should have 
been fully satisfied in every respect as at 12th October, 2026

I.	
Minimum Age: Not less than 18 years.
	
II.	
Maximum Age: Not more than 35 years.
