9.0	 Submission of Applications:
	
Completed applications should be sent by registered post to reach the following address on or before 30.09.2026.

10.0	 Attendance for the professional Test and Structured Interview:
	
After reviewing the received applications, calling letters will be issued to qualified candidates to reach them one week 
prior to the date on which the professional test and structured interview are conducted.
	
No candidate who fails to produce the calling letter will be permitted to appear for the professional  test and structured 
interview.
11.0	 Identity of the Candidate:
	
candidates must prove their identity to the satisfaction of the interview board at the time of appearing for the professional 
test and structured interview. The following documents will be accepted for this purpose:
	
I.	 National Identity Card issued by the Department for Registration of Persons
	
II.	 Valid Passport
	
III.	 Valid Driving License
12.0	 Penalty for Furnishing False Information:
	
If it is revealed that a candidate is not qualified to appear for the professional  test and structured interview  , his/her 
candidature may be cancelled at any time before, during, or after the interview.
	
If it is revealed that a candidate has knowingly submitted false information, or has intentionally suppressed any 
important fact, he/she may be dismissed from service.
13.0	 the Procedural Rules of the Public Service Commission, circulars issued regarding the public service from time to time, 
conditions of the Scheme of Recruitment to the Post of ................. in the Primary (Semi-Skilled) Officer Category 
of the Department of National Museums - 2026 and amendments made thereto, of the Department of National 
Museums, , shall apply to this post.
14.0	 In the event of any inconsistency or conflict among the language texts of this notification published in Sinhala, Tamil, 
and English media, action will be taken in accordance with the Sinhala text.
15.0	 Matters not provided for in these regulations will be determined by the Public Service Commission.
