Physical Qualifications - Should be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of the island and to discharge 
the duties entrusted to the post.

Should have fulfilled all qualifications required for recruitment to the post in all aspects by the date specified 
in the Gazette notification.
03.	 Salary Code and Salary Scale- 
The monthly consolidated salary scale applicable to this post:
Rs. 52,250-10×800-11×1190-10×1320-10×1350-100,040/-
Salary Code - MN3 – 2025
04.	 Age Limit
Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as at the closing date for acceptance of applications. 
(Accordingly, only those whose date of birth falls on or before 05.10.2008 and on or after 05.10.1996 are eligible to 
apply.)
05.	 Conditions of Service
I.	
This post is permanent and pensionable. Officers recruited to this post shall be subject to any policy decisions that 
may be taken by the Government from time to time regarding the pension scheme.
II.	
Appointees to this post will be required to serve a probation period of three (03) years.
III.	
In terms of Public Administration Circular No. 18/2020 and the circulars incidental thereto, officers shall acquire 
proficiency in the other official language within three (03) years of joining the service, in addition to the language 
medium through which they entered the service.
IV.	
The prescribed link language proficiency requirements shall be fulfilled in accordance with the Minute of the Sri 
Lanka Technological Service.
V.	
This appointment is subject to the Procedural Rules of the Public Service Commission, the Service Minute of the 
Sri Lanka Technological Service and any amendments made or to be made thereto, the Establishments Code of the 
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Government Financial Regulations, the Scheme of Recruitment of 
the post of Superintendent of Works in the Supervisory Management Assistant Technical Service category of the 
Land Commissioner General’s Department, departmental orders, and any other regulations issued by the Government 
from time to time.
06.	 Method of Examination
I.	
This examination will be conducted by an institution approved by the Land Commissioner General, and the 
examination will be held only in the city of Colombo on a date determined by the head of that institution.
